A Tribute to Tom DiehlRecently, we lost a valued member of our board and dear friend, Tom Diehl. Tom joined the Bank of Wisconsin Dells Board
of
Directors in 1990, and his
invaluable
guidance
shaped our bank and staff in countless ways. Tom’s love for this community was unmatched. In 2018, Northwestern Financial Review magazine named him an Amazing Outside Bank Board Director. The article highlighted his work in the wake of the Lake
Delton
breach in 2008. Tom demonstrated
his
unwavering
commitment to local businesses and our community. He immediately began work to coordinate efforts on rebuilding the lake and Hwy A, while also working through BWD and its board of directors to provide support to local businesses in need. On
behalf
of the directors, officers, and
employees
of
the Bank of Wisconsin Dells, we want to express our deepest gratitude for Tom’s leadership and guidance. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Diehl family. Tom leaves behind a lasting legacy as a leader, mentor, and friend. He will forever be missed.
